GPZ Group is a leading contracting group and engineering organisation, with a vast portfolio and long-standing history in delivering high-quality, iconic developments for the public and private sectors across Bahrain, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Egypt.
The objective of the project was to develop a logo and brand identity appropriate for the construction industry, by readapting the 70-year-old identity into a modern and timeless logomark and brand personality. Following the refresh, we developed a contemporary company website showcasing the group’s services and landmark projects, while establishing a strong digital presence through branded social media content and community-focused marketing campaigns.
The choice of orange as the main brand colour was made to associate the brand with the equipment, gear and machinery commonly used in the construction industry and within the group itself. Items such as personal protective gear, helmets, and vests, as well as cranes and excavators, are commonly dressed in orange due to its property as a high-visibility colour making it appropriate in meeting strict safety standards. The website and social media campaigns are both focused on the organisation’s premium quality and supreme craftsmanship, which are highlighted further through refined project photography and elaborate case studies on the sophisticated construction projects delivered successfully by the group over 70 years.
The new identity along with the company website and social media campaigns were successful in enhancing the group’s pre-existing reputation as being the leading engineering group in the region and contractor-of-choice for the construction of iconic, sophisticated and landmark projects.
